Skyblivion is an ambitious fan-made project to remaster The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in the engine of Skyrim. The team of volunteers has announced a roadmap to release the game by 2025, and their latest update details significant progress. Already 87% of the world map’s cells have been landscaped, with 40 spaces beyond the world map saved for last. 97 out of 199 quests are playable, with spellcrafting, alchemy, underwater combat, and weather systems implemented. Unfortunately, no expansions like The Shivering Isles will be included in this initial release, but Skyblivion will be playable on both Skyrim and Skyrim: Special Edition.
