Introducing the process of unlocking mastery camos in the newly released Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The game features three categories of camos: Military, Special, and Mastery. To unlock the prestigious Mastery camos, players must first unlock the Military and Special camos for each weapon. The camo challenges are divided into three modes: Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. Each mode has its own set of challenges to unlock the camos. The first step is to complete the Military camos, which are unlocked by reaching progressive milestones in each mode. Once all nine Military camos for a specific weapon are completed, players can move on to unlocking the Special camos. Special camos are unique “Special camo Swatches” that can only be earned with the specific weapon. Once unlocked, these camos can be equipped to any weapon as long as it has completed the Military camos and gained access to the Special category in at least one mode. After completing both Military and Special camos, players can finally begin the Mastery camo challenges. Each mode (Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone) has four unique Mastery camos to unlock for each weapon. These Mastery camos must be individually unlocked for each weapon, and players have the option to choose which modes they want to focus on. In Multiplayer mode, the Mastery camos include Gold, Diamond, Dark Spine, and Dark Matter. Gold is the first Mastery challenge to unlock, followed by Diamond, an animated camo called Dark Spine, and finally, the dynamic Dark Matter camo. For Zombies mode, the Mastery camos consist of Mystic Gold, Opal, Afterlife, and Nebula. Similar to Multiplayer mode, Mystic Gold is the first challenge to unlock, followed by Opal, an animated Afterlife camo, and finally, the dynamic Nebula camo. In Warzone mode, the Mastery camos include Gold Tiger, King’s Ransom, Catalyst, and Abyss. Gold Tiger is the initial challenge to unlock, followed by King’s Ransom, an animated Catalyst camo, and finally, the dynamic Abyss camo. In my opinion better leaving the weapons players don’t enjoy or struggle with for last, especially since more weapons will be added throughout the seasons. Additionally, starting the grind later in the year allows players to pick and choose which weapons to select, making the process easier. Grinding camos is a long process but it pays back once you can show off your weapon and frag your enemies in style.
