Mario fans, it’s time to rejoice! Nintendo is releasing two exclusive titles this fall – a remake of the classic Super Mario RPG and an all-new Super Mario Bros. Wonder. It’s like Christmas in August for gamers! Super Mario RPG is getting a full remake, with updated graphics, characters and story. Players will join Mario, Bowser, Princess Peach and original characters Mallow and Geno to face down a menacing force known as the Smithy Gang. This classic game has been beloved by fans since its release on the Super NES back in 1996, and now players can dive into the Nintendo Switch version. Super Mario RPG launches November 17th. The new Super Mario Bros. Wonder looks like it’ll be shaking up the traditional side-scrolling Mario formula. When you touch a Wonder Flower in the game, the world changes in unpredictable ways. Plus, there are five playable characters (Mario, Luigi, Toad, Princess Peach and Princess Daisy) and a brand new power-up that lets Mario transform into Elephant Mario. Pre-orders started already and Super Mario Bros. Wonder launches October 20th. These titles look like they’ll bring something fresh and exciting to the Mario franchise. What other wonders could they contain? We’ll just have to wait and see!
