Bethesda has finally released the next-gen update for Fallout 4, bringing the game up to modern standards with graphical and technical improvements, as well as additional content. This mtches perfectly the hype run started with the TV series, that brought new and old players to the game franchise. The update includes 4K resolution support on consoles, with options for Quality mode targeting 30 FPS at 4K or Performance mode targeting 60 FPS at standard 4K with dynamic resolution scaling. PC players also benefit from wide and ultrawide screen support, updates to the Creation Kit, and official availability on the Epic Games Store. In addition to technical enhancements, the update introduces new gear and questlines in The Commonwealth, including a new Enclave storyline, new weapons and outfits, and two new questlines called When Pigs Fly and All Hallow’s Eve. These additions provide both returning and new players with fresh content to explore. While the update brings many welcomed changes, it has also introduced some new issues, which Bethesda is working to address. Despite this, the update offers an enticing opportunity for fans to revisit Fallout 4, especially in light of the Fallout TV show.
