Destiny 2 Solstice Event Guide

Destiny 2’s Solstice event has returned with some significant changes this year. This event offers players the chance to acquire armor pieces, great weapons, and new gear like the Fortunate Star combat bow. The event runs from August 8-27, and players can start by talking to Eva LeVante in the Tower social space. To upgrade the new armor sets, players need to complete bounties found in the Solstice Forge. These bounties are divided into three tiers—common, uncommon, and legendary—and can be purchased with Silver Leaves. Completing activities will reward players with Solstice Leaves, another currency used for forging armor pieces. Players can also re-roll the bounty page for a fresh set of challenges, but this will cost them five Silver Leaves. Completing Bonfire Bash activities allows players to forge Sublime armor pieces and further improve them by completing Eva’s “Celebrating Solstice” quest. Players can also purchase color glows from the Eververse store or with Bright Dust. In addition, players have the opportunity to earn the Flamekeeper seal and title by completing all event challenges during Solstice. To get the most out of the event, players should emphasize playing as a team instead of going solo. The EAZ is a match-made activity where players can explore and take part in the Bonfire Bash mode. Teamwork is essential during the event, as stoking the bonfire and defeating challenging enemies require coordination and cooperation. Players can take advantage of two exclusive buffs — Firebound and Flare — to enhance their abilities and increase their chances of success. Overall, the Solstice event promises to be a more challenging experience this year, but with teamwork and coordination, players can make the most of the event and earn valuable rewards.
