Baldur’s Gate 3 is off to a strong start, with an impressive 340,000 concurrents on Steam and 480,000 viewers on Twitch. We did talk about it only one month ago here. It has become one of the summer’s hottest releases thanks to news that it will feature many romantic options with the 12 classes and numerous party members, including with a bear (or rather, a Druid in bear form). Early impressions are positive, with reviewers praising its fidelity to the original Infinity Engine games. Despite some minor bugs and combat issues at lower levels, it appears that Baldur’s Gate 3 has been a success so far. It remains to be seen how long the game can keep up this level of interest, but for now it looks like Larian Studios has hit yet another home run.
